REFUNDS: All payments to Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices competitive and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation. It is strongly advised that you get Travel insurance to protect your investment.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS: Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Therefore, we highly recommend Travel Insurance that helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses and more. You are required to select and purchase travel insurance yourself for domestic, Caribbean and international packages. While we do offer coverage through certain carriers, we cannot compare all the policies or companies currently in the marketplace and can’t advise on which provider would be best or what they will or won’t cover. This responsibility rests solely with you the customer and we advise you to do your research and find coverage that best fits your individual needs. Please keep in mind that if you do not purchase a cancel- for- any- reason policy, most policies have a specific clause stating that they do not cover travel advisories, epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. No representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. You agree to hold us harmless for your election not to purchase travel insurance or for any denial of claim by travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 or any other claim under the policy. Please note that all planning & service fees & commission portions of trips are non- refundable and that you should purchase insurance that covers this.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents and travel instructions will be sent via email and/or mail 30 days or earlier prior to travel. If paper documents are requested when e-documents are available, documents will be delivered via USPS approximately 14-21 days prior, and a fee of $30 will apply. A complete street address is required (no PO boxes). Passenger(s) assumes sole responsibility to independently confirm all documentation requirements for all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry and/or travel requirements of each destination. Passenger(s) assumes sole responsibility for, and hereby releases Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante from any claims or responsibility for any and all damages incurred as a result of Passenger(s) failure to comply with applicable documentation requirements, including but not limited the requirement that all Passengers procure, and have on their person the proper travel documents at all times. Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante recommends the Passenger(s) consult with the appropriate domestic and foreign governmental agencies for the current document requirements.
